Root Beer Floats

Root Beer Floats

The root beer must be very cold when you make these floats, or the ice cream will melt too quickly. My mother always made these in those clear glass beer steins (which we used to drink ice water instead of beer).
INGREDIENTS:

4 scoops super-premium ice cream
16 oz. Bottle root beer
PREPARATION:

Pour about 1/2 cup root beer into the bottom of each glass. Carefully add one scoop of ice cream to each glass, then fill the glass with more root beer. The glasses will probably overflow - that's part of the fun! Eat slowly, starting with the cold frozen foam on top, scooping ice cream and root beer together with your spoon, then drinking the creamy, caramel colored root beer at the end. Serves 4

Well,why ?? It's a very easy make drink,and my son likes it.
remember the time we went to Vegas ,and we have order one Root Beer Float for my son.
And he likes it a lot.
no only that he likes to drink root beer too ( the one in the glass bottle )because he saw his dad is drinking BEER,so he likes to be BIG,just like dad .(and he is only 3 and 1/2 )OH my...
So ,I'm just so happy,before I got home,I went to store really quick just pick up root beer for him,and make it.
And when he saw I put ice cream,and root beer together ,he start to CRY,cry big,and told me stop to do that ,it's not nice.
the ice cream is going down,and he doesn't like it.
Oh My God.
Because that he start to cry,and I can only put ice cream in the waffle cone.....That's the only way to do it.
OK,he stop crying.
because he has his nice ice cream cone,and mommy is drinking root beer float....
and he keep looks at me. ( he really wants to try it after saw I drink so much ....hahaaaaa..kids )
So ,he try,and he likes it AGAIN.

it's hot today,it should be like this,in Taiwan
in Chinese's calendar (Lunar calendar) after today,will be Hot summer time.
We have Dragon canoe today.
yap,sure it's a nice beautiful day ,sky is so blue.
it make s me want to go to beach .
Ocean has kinda power over me .I love to go just be around .
it's like home ? I'm not sure.

Long Weekend

It's really nice weather of this long weekend,and Even I need to work monday (today )
it still kind of good...there are not too many people.not alot of car on the street,and freeway,it just nice ,feel relax.....

it the best weather to go to beach or just work around any place ( remember to put some suntan lotion ) because I been in office all the time so sometimes I easy to forget to put them on .
Today went in for 2/3 of day,and not everyone is in office....that's good too ( boss is there,but he is nice )they try to put some cam in the office ,that 's just in case something happen.

I enjoy the day.it's beautiful.

20/20

I like to watch 20/20, the best is when the guy -Mr. John Stossel comes up. with his news
why ?
I like to learn things,but I also like to find things out ,the truth .
of couse there are alot of things we don't know,and maybe will not have chance to know or find out the truth.
And what he does ,he really try,and find the real deal.
Yap,there are ots of people don't like him,but why they don't .because they have things to hide things they will not like the others to find out,things maybe will bring them money ....
Why hide ??
What can you hide,and How long you can hide,and who are you hideing from ?
maybe End up,you are only hideing from yourself,run away from yourself ,lie to yoursefl.
because truth will away be there ,and it will always come out ,some day soon or later.
And Mr. John Stossel ,he really does a great job. (it takes lots of guts )

CO-Worker

Well,this guy drive me nut
is not my business,because he is not even in my dept
but the thing is ,sometimes I have to pick up the phone,and the phone is for him...
thing start from
he should be in NY office,but he came back for traing,because he was sales,but now office there in NY is only himself. (So he need to train up for OP,plus Accounding )
OK.so he came back in LA office.
He is a nice person,but not man enough .
Why ?
Man take caer their busniess.anything goes wrong they fix it up.
Not run away (even I'm a woman ,I don't run away from my mass.you learn from what is wrong,and try the best no do it again !! )
So,this not enough man,
doing things,learning,but when the mass comes....he hide,or get upset...or ....just try to get away from it ,that's all he is doing .and that make me feel bad till the time comes

he need help,yet,he will forget what he needs,OK,so if you don't tell me how I can remember what you said ?? (you did not even tell me ) HELLO ~~~~~
ask me "do you remember " ??
give me his file,and ask me if I can find things for him,that he does not even know.....out of blue...

I can help,only if I know (and yet,I am not doing OP,I only help my accounding )
And my Accounding manerger have to get into the mass sometimes to ask him questions. (thing is ,he will not know,you ask,he says ,don't know )
I mean come on,what do you know ? if you don't know what are you doing here ? what are you doing with your files ?? are you going to find out ,and fix them,or just "I don't know " will fix all up ???

That really drive me NUT.

I just hope he really learnd fast (I will not think so )
anyway ,once he finish ,he will go back to NY. Oh Ya....

Summer Time

WEll,today is warmer ,
it's not HOT yet,but can feel summber is very close ( in Taiwan is already there)
I like the winter time,but like summer also...what can I say...I love ocean.
So summer time is the best time for me to be around ...and change skin color too
I am not really dark so I like to be a bit darker in summber time ,don't mind baking myself...

any place I can chose to be for the 1/2 of my life time,I guess I will pick one small town wherer is close by beach.Venice will be OK (but not Malibu...don't have enough to buy house there,not only that ,it's only PCH can go around there ,it's not good )

Who knows ,maybe the other country,for me I like it to be around the other country,taht's why I end up here (even I will like to go on for more ) oh well....
But ,I don't know if we can go any the others...I love to fly
My hubby does not even ,he like it before,but I don't know ,maybe getting older,and afraid things go wrong hight on the sky.
I don't know,I'm not him,even I try to help,but that's not something I can do for him,he has to fix it by himself.All I can do is be there.

Anyway,summber time. Hot day.Hot night....
it makes me sleepy....(I don't know why,my mom the same,if it's too hot ,we feel sleepy easier)

Monday Blue

I don't think monday Blue go with me,but
hey my monday blue just came by yesterday ~
in the Office is so weird boss is not there,manerger will be out of the city soon,and my accouning manerger got sick not in the office till late afternoon.
So it's should not be too BLue,should be more slower,and lest work.....

I guess maybe because last work,so it's make me blue.

Just like the people I meet,they said oh don't even try to said " hi "to anyone at monday,and When Friday comes,people look more happier ~
IS it real ? I don't know maybe ,just one day is one day ,monday ,tuesday,wednesday.thursday ,friday,saturday,sunday...that are just a name of the day. Just like eveyone have different name.

one day is one day,that little 24 hrs ,spend time with the one you love.

Birthday

well,we have birthday dinner saturday
it's nice to see a friend who is not around for 3 years. I guess that's not my thing any more.
Ha,have a nice saturady,but sunday it's really not good
was thinking to have something different,but yet,don't even have chance to sleep in
My son got up early,and wants me to get up,so I did,and bring him to living room...end up he went back to sleep,but I was up....

OH,I miss my girlfriend Mindy,and Lucy,
we meet because work,and become very close friend,I really like that,I don't have any sister,only 2 brother.plus here now I'm myself...well my family.
but my dad mom,and brothers ,friends ...all of them are in Taiwan.
Yap,that's where I am from. alot of time when people saw me.will ask me are you ??? all kind of different name of country.
But my answer is I'm Chinese.
I really should say " I'm Taiwaness" but alot of time ,will have to tell them,oh it's a island next to China,and yes I speak chinese...,but what is the different betwing China and Taiwan ??
well one is free country ,and one is not .(I really can't said is a country,because China really don't want us to be a country)

OH anyway about that .

But really ,It's Friday ~ what is that mean ,mean I can sleep in ...with my sunny .And I want to go back to this little place to eat again.

Because I don't eat meat at all,So last week when we went out,my father in law want to find a place that's not only have steak...plus we both like Mexican food...so we found this place ...it's a bar plus restaurant. it's nice for family to go,oh even yuo like to watch ball games,there are TVs ...so guys ,you will have fun there too !
Well, I like it there.

Alot of time you go to a place,it's not really mater the place is,most of the time you enjoy more with the people you go with .

*****Around the place I work ,I can see fright everyday. that make me want to fly again.Yap,I love to.....just take off,and go see something very different.
From where I am from,to US.here is very different for me .
That's really East meets West.
But I like it.there are things different,but yet I found things the same too.
I like it not because it's here,because I have learn lots of things that make me ONE,yap,just like day and night ,you need them both to be one day. to be 24hrs .to be complete.
I guess I found my way of life.

My Weekend

My weekend~
my father in law came visit us,out of blue ,well he did said he may come by,but we don't know if he is coming or not till the same day morning ,he call,and both of my hubby,and I are working ...........
for him to come ,he has to drive 5-6 hrs .And he did ...
Really happy to see him.it's first time we have a room for family ...ha..it was always one bedroom,till 2 and 1/2 years ago,that we think our sunny need his own room,so we found this 2 bedroom place.
and it's the first time we have family member come to stay. ( I guess one more room is not enough ,sometimes ) ha ...well,one by one.
oh my ,it make me miss my the other part of my family before marry .
Both of us ,our family are not so close ,not like things happen we will have back up asap...his is 6 hrs away,mine...ha it's 13 hrs away (not drive , FLY )
yap,13 hrs fly .so far away. that's why there are really no one come to stay with us very offen.
SO.that little stay it's really nice .

time goes by too fast after I start to work full time ,I don't know it's because I like it working place ,and things I'm doing or just time went by too fast (maybe it's both )

it's almost thursday,and I still think about my passed weekend..........

Go to Meeting ?

Well,it's not the meeting for office or work
it's a meeting for knitting !
I still thinking about it ,to go or not.
Because the meeting time it's early for me,but still think about to go ...Really want to meet see people in the area who loves to knit ~

Remember I start to learn how to knit ,because my grandma,she does that sometimes,something easy ,and small...Some little dress for doll...She also make clothes too.(but I really don't know,and didn't have chace to learn that part from her) that 's also something I like to know how to do it.

Of cause ,there are lots of class to go for ,to learn all that .But it also cost too.(guess have to do it one by one) My hubby think I'm old lady (when he saw I'm knitting )and he will never understand why I do that ...I don't know .Just like when you ask a person why you like red better ,not blue,or why you like eat ice cream ??

I just love to things by my own hands,I think that 's really cool~ to make things by your own,plus no one have the same as you,even it cost time,but still love to do it.( if I have chance to learn to make my own chair,table...Maybe make more thing . I will go for it )

My Mother's Day

Well,how is your mother's day people ask today.
IS not a going out have dinner mother's day,but I have very nice one with my son.
He is super sweet.
got up the first thing he told me is "mommy I love you ",and give me a kiss.

He is just happy that I'm still in the bed ,still can see me the first thing in the morning.

Just like most of the people ,work Monday to Friday. So there are 5 morning ,he can't see me the first thing in the morning,when he saw me,will be the time I off work,and get home.

Yes,of couse if I don't need to work I think he still need to go to school,just maybe he can see me in the morning ..........

New in Blogger

it's firist time here in Blogger,I do have the other blog in Sina,but I guess there is not much room for me to said what ever I want,
guess people is not nice enough there for me.
well it's very nice to se all people,and blogs in here,and I like alot of blog owner here already.
I'm a mommy have son why is 3 and 1/2 now,work full time,yet like to knit.and have fun to travel,where I found all those time ?
I guess can't ,have to do it one by one.
or maybe one day soon ,make enough to do it all.
but that 's not mean I can't do it all....hope you guys like it here,and sure things with me.
